Inexpected magical Tales
The book Turquoise Bridge is a awesome and beautiful collection of mystical stories with magical elements and show often human struggles. Since I favour mystical short stories and each tale has its own beautiful intention. Each story is accompied with awesome Illustrations. These pictures really bring the story to live.

Sanfte Magie, echte Fragen
Mir hat gefallen, wie leise und klar Heliya Alekseeva erzählt – träumerisch, aber geerdet. Die Figuren sind greifbar, ihre Verwunderung und ihr Mut fühlen sich echt an, und zwischen Visionen blitzen immer wieder liebevolle, zarte Momente auf.
Beim Lesen hatte ich dieses ruhige Staunen: Als würden Träume einen Spiegel halten, in dem man eigene Widersprüche erkennt – ohne erhobenen Zeigefinger. Die Sprache ist einfach, warm und bildhaft, die Geschichten bleiben nachklingend im Kopf. Wer Lust hat auf kurze, poetische Ausflüge, die mehr über das reale Leben sagen als man zuerst denkt, sollte hier einmal die Brücke überqueren.

Beautiful Fairytales
Since I love short stories, this book is just perfect for me. Each tale has its own charm, and the accompanying illustrations are really cool and bring the stories to life.
The only downside for me is that the frequent paragraph breaks sometimes interrupt the reading flow. Still, overall it’s a lovely and enjoyable collection that fans of short, fairytale-like stories will appreciate.
